Mark and I played a lot of music together at Fort Meade between 1989 and 1991. I later had the chance to jam with him again at Defense Language Institute in 1992 when I just happened to see him at the base! Mark and I would touch base from time to time and I was sad to find out today that he had passed away. You will be missed, Mark.

Grew up with Mark one street over in Carroll Highlands, where I spent many a day with Mark and the neighborhood crew playing wiffle ball, football, listening to music, playing music, creating haunted houses in our basement, building tree forts in the woods, etc. Good memories of Mark bringing his guitar to my wedding and playing music for our guest after the reception ended. Mark was wicked smart and immensely talented, with a highly creative mind. Mark could play the piano, the bass guitar, the guitar and had an innate ability to listen to a tune and play it right away by ear. Mark and I stayed in touch up to about 7 years ago. He was a great friend with an awesome heart...always interested in updates on my family and giving me updates on his. Although saddened by his passing, I will carry with me some awesome memories and great times! Rest in Peace my friend........

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Mark´s family and friends at this time. I remember him coming over to my house often when I was growing up, to hang out with my brother. He was always a kind soul. May he Rest In Peace.
