I express my condolences to the Noll family. I worked in the same group as Mike for several years at APL from 2005 onwards, and used to meet him occasionally on APL campus. He was always smiling, loved his family and was respected by his colleagues. An engineer at heart, he was a consummate professional.

I just came to know about his passing as I read through APL's internal news 'AOS Digest'.

Deeply saddened to hear of your sudden passing. We were all so close as our summers and winter holidays were often spent back home in PA with our aunt's, uncles and cousins. You will truly be missed by all of us. So many precious childhood memories which you are truly a big part of have been flashing through my mind. We pray for God to watch over your wife Cathy and your daughters Sarah and Julia during this very difficult time. We pray for uncle Melvin and for Maxine and Michelle and their families. We ask that God give all forementioned peace and comfort in the days ahead. RIP Micheal. Our deepest condolences and all our love.

Julia, I am so very sorry to learn about the loss of your dad. He sounds like he was a really good man. You and your family are in my prayers.

My favorite memory of Michael is at the Arzbeacher reunion, probably 1969, coming up from the creek dripping wet with David and Jimmy after they were told not to get in or play around the creek. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was a great guy.
