Stephen Streett Obituary



Stephen "Steve" Finley Streett, 52, of Westminster, died Sunday evening, Oct. 1, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born Sept. 30, 1960, in Baltimore, he was the son of Robert "Bob" Finley Streett and Marion "Dee" Deanna Cotham Streett, of Westminster. He was the husband of Petrina Ann Streett, his wife of 28 years.

He was a 1979 graduate of Westminster High School. He served in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant for 10 years, and worked in commercial sales for Lowes for 10 years.

He enjoyed fly and bass fishing, golfing, cycling, mowing the grass, the Ravens, Orioles, and watching ESPN.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are daughter Holly Stella Streett and fiance Christopher J. McKean, of Westminster; sister Robin L. Bell and husband Brian, of Westminster; brother Barry S. Streett and wife Barbara, of Evergreen, Colo.; a granddaughter, Brooke Deanna McKean, of Westminster; mother-in-law and father-in-law Stella and Mick Porter, of Essex, England; nephew Tom Bell and fiance Rebecca Bouck; a nephew, Bryce Streett; a niece, Maggie Streett; one sister-in-law; and three brother-in-laws.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St. Westminster, with the Rev. Herb Ruby III officiating. Interment will be private.
