Tracy Welch

1968 - 2021

Tracy Marie Welch, 52, of Westminster, MD, passed peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born December 18, 1968 in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Mary Catherine (Shauck) McCloskey of Ocean View, DE, and granddaughter of the late Ed and Jane Shauck. Tracy split her time between Westminster and her beloved cottage home in Elkton, MD. She had been employed by Wakefield Valley Golf Club and Sakura Japanese Restaurant in Westminster. She was a dedicated animal lover, and patron of the Baltimore and D.C. music and arts scene. Tracy was a passionate artist, who loved to dance and spend time with her pets. She will be remembered as a truly unique spirit and light for all who knew her. Surviving are her daughter, Teal Sexton and husband Jeremy of Phoenix, MD; her mother, Mary Catherine McCloskey and husband Charles of Ocean View, DE; and an abundance of loving friends. Services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tracy's name may be made to the American Visionary Art Museum, 800 Key Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21230, or to Rolling Hills Animal Hospital, 1030 Baltimore Blvd, Suite 175, Westminster, MD 21157.
