Kenneth Gonser Obituary

Kenneth H. Gonser, 88

Kenneth Henry Gonser, born to Henry and Beatrice in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1936, went to be with our Lord on November 14, 2024.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Kathy Gonser. Together, they nurtured a loving family that includes three children: Jim (Tana) Gonser, Kara (David) Craner, and Lora (Tim) Henderson. Kenneth was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Jeremy (Stephanie) Craner, Briana Lamb (Randy), Jacob (Alysse) Craner, Benjamin (Carolina) Gonser, and Matthew (Mckenna) Gonser, and he was blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Reed, Wyatt, Hailey, Kayla, Jackson, Lily, and baby Scarlett.

Kenneth dedicated many years of service to the Idaho State Transportation Department, retiring at the age of 57. Post-retirement, he embraced life fully, enjoying his time traveling, relaxing, and cherishing moments at the family cabin on Lake Pend Oreille. He had a passion for hunting, woodworking, and gardening, activities that brought him joy and a sense of fulfillment. He was a devoted member of Hayden Bible Church, serving as Deacon. Above all, Kenny treasured spending quality time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories.

His presence, warmth, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The legacy of love and devotion he leaves behind will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00PM at Hayden Bible Church, 290 E. Miles Ave, Hayden, Idaho, 83835.
