Mary Ewing Obituary

Mary Evelyn Ewing, 72, of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the Union Hospital, Elkton.
A lifelong resident of Elkton, she was born on August 17, 1944, the daughter of the late William Clifton Rhoades and Erma O. (Garten) Decker.
Mary retired from Chrysler.
She was a member of the Moose Club, Elkton, and UAW Local 1183. In her spare time, she enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, yard sales and couponing. Most of all, Mary loved her family and friends. She was lovingly known as Mom Mom Mary by everyone.
Survivors include her five children: Gilbert "Rocky" Ewing Jr. of North East, MD; Terry Boyce (John) of Elkton; Wanda Ewing (Arthur Bullins) of Rising Sun, MD; Valery Perdue of Elkton; and Bobby Jo Bramble (Brian Rice) of Elkton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, one of whom predeceased her and 24 great grandchildren, four of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her only sister, Linda Walsh (Dennis) of St. George, GA; and predeceased by her two brothers: William Rhoades and Robert Rhoades.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. James Moyers, will be held Monday, May 22, 2 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main St., North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. until service time.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
