Janice Humphrey Obituary
Born December 16, 1959, in Louisa, she was the daughter of Russell E. Marks and Brenda Lloyd Marks of Louisa.
Janice was retired from State Farm Insurance. She was a member of Waldrop Baptist Church and attended Berea Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, R.C. Humphrey and his wife, Melissa, William Humphrey; a sister, Joyce Coates and her husband, Jeff; two grandchildren, Sadie Humphrey and Emma Humphrey, all of Louisa; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with the Revs. Sherri Brown, James Graham and James Waldrop officiating. Interment will be private in the Marks Family Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 East 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022, or www.bcrfcure.org.
Arrangements were made by Preddy Funeral Home, Gordonsville.

Joyce, I am so sorry to find that Janice has passed on. I hope the family has some peace in knowing she is at rest now. I will always remember you and her as the 'twins' in high school. (1978)

I'm so sorry about your loss. Janice sometimes drove our van at State Farm where she told me wonderful stories about her family. I'll miss her smile the most.
