Robert Combs Obituary
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He always put a smile on your face.
He is the son of Mary Brown. His stepfather is Edward Brown. He was predeceased in death by his father, Robbie Cross; a sister, Mary (Jean) Albert; and a brother, Robert A. Combs (Dink).
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Kimberly L. Smallwood-Combs; his four children, Tara Barker, Alfonso Combs, Evelyn Combs and Brooke Combs; two grandchildren, Braeson McCoy Pritchett and Madison Nicole Best; sisters, Josephine (Goose) Lanham, Debra (Junebug) Hill, Teresa (Sis) Lanham, Melissa (Safie) Sampson, Wanda (Tiny) Flack; his mother-in-law, Debbie Crone; father-in-law, John Crone; sisters-in-law, Michelle Crone and Elizabeth Crone; brothers-in-law, Jason Nieves amd Robbie Crone; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Little River Baptist Church, Bumpass, Virginia. Donations can be made in his honor to Little River Baptist Church, 4959 Buckner Rd., Bumpass, VA, 23024.

Robert was known for his kindness and laughter. He was a very good person who could get along with anybody. He had a good heart and like to look out for others. I was blessed to have him as a friend. Rest in Peace
