A. Games Obituary

A. Beatrice Games January 23, 1922 - March 5, 2008 A. Beatrice Games, 86, of Alexandria, Virginia, died at Thetford assisted living home. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter and Thelma Webb. She lived most of her childhood in Canada where she married Jack Reavley and had three children, Keith, Bob, and Coleen. She later moved to the States, and met Paul A. Games in Pittsburgh when he was singing at the piano. They were married in El Paso, Texas in 1954. Beatrice worked in secretarial positions until she started her second family. Beatrice loved sewing, cooking, gardening and square dancing. She was always sewing dresses for herself and the children. She also took on volunteer positions like president of the faculty wives club and chairman of the arts festival. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her sons and daughters, Keith Reavley and wife Linda of Fonthill, Ontario, Canada, Sherry G. of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Karla Pudleiner and husband Burl of Springfield, Virginia, Denise Dudley of Bakersfield, California, and Michelle Games of Rockville, Maryland; sister of Barry Webb, Lois Mathers and the late Walter and Llewellyn Webb; ten grandchildren, Jason Reavley, Gwendolyn, Morgan and Larissa S.; David, Douglas, Korryn, and Kailyn Pudleiner, and Tessa and Khaya Dudley. We loved her generous, caring, and compassionate heart. She was always helping others and will be missed. A memorial service will be held at Springfield United Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2008. Graveside services will take place at noon on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Center County Memorial Park in State College.
