Charlotte and family,
My thoughts are with you and your family in the passing of your mom. May time heal the sorrow and pain you must feel. Always cherish the times you got to spend with your mom. When I worked for Edna at UFB, there were times when she felt like a mom to me. She had to be the most tollerable boss ever to have the crew of us that she managed in the College Ave. basement. I always respected her and she was a great person. We actually had fun at work. Take care and keep those happy memories in your heart forever.

When I heard the news about your mom, my heart stopped beating for a second. She was like a mother to me and my best friend when I worked with her at the bank. I very much enjoyed the several yrs I worked w/ Edna at United Federal Savings Bank---she was a gem, a good mentor! Her obituary is accurate: 'she was loved and respected by her co-workers and customers'

Dear Family Members of Edna Harpster, It is with sadness I send this message of sympathy in the passing of Edna. I went to school in Ferguson Township and remember the Shillings from school. Edna and George often joined us at the Riders for music and fellowship. Edna was a fine lady and a joy to talk with. She will be missed. My prayers go out to all her family and friends.
