Elmer was one of the two best managers/bosses I ever had-he was always kind and gentle in spirit, respectful of others, their ideas, concerns, and was a leader who always listened and explored options to his decisions. A great leader, and even greater man whom I was fortunate enough to know, count as not only my leader, but a dear friend as well! He is missed-this world and esp. the business world needs leaders like him today! Rest In Peace Elmer

My sincerest thoughts and caring prayers are with Elmer's family as we all mourn the loss of a great man--warm and gentle of heart, deeply caring of his family and those people who surrounded him, a mentor and wonderful role model, a champion of creativity and independent thinking, a great motivator and builder-----and the greatest, best boss I have ever had the honor and pleasure of working with! He is deeply missed in this world. Dave Clark (former SVP HR, Mellon Central Bank)

My condolences to the entire family. I was honored to work with and for Elmer in his days at CCB. He was a valued teacher for all who worked with him and were open to his professional mentoring.
