Dear Cousins:

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother/mother-in-law/grandmother. I enjoyed so much my many visits with her and I was looking forward to another visit this summer. Family was first in your mother's heart and she talked about each one of you with great love and pride. She appreciated the good people you are, the good choices you have made in your lives and the many things you did to help her. During the war your Mother and my Mother (Elaine Hall) used to go to the Friday night dances at the Fire Hall. Mother talks about the good times they had dancing together. I pray that you will be comforted by the many wonderful memories you have and in the knowledge that you may all be together again.

With sympathy and much love, Sandy

Sending along prayers for your family at this trying time. I was not personally acquainted with Mrs. Hall, but the gentle qualities of her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren make me feel sad that I never met her.
