Efthimios Tsoulos Obituary
January 15, 1948 - January 30, 2024
Dade City, Florida - Mr. Efthimios "Tim" Tsoulos, 76, joined his heavenly father surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Dade City, FL. Born January 15, 1948, in Psilovraxos, Aitoloakarnania, Greece, he was the son of the late Georgios Efthimios Tsoulos and Dimitra Karasmanis Tsoulos.
Tim immigrated to Australia at an early age with his brother, Angelo and sister-in-law, Anna. They lived together for several years and enjoyed happy times. He later joined his siblings in Charlotte, NC in the late 1970's and later relocated to Tampa, Florida. Tim will be remembered for his kind and even-keeled nature. He owned Tim's Café of Lithia, FL for over 20 years.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Mr. Sam Tsoulos and his wife, Theodora of Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Anthoula Masouras and her husband, Pete of Charlotte, NC, Mr. John Tsoulos and his wife, Vicki of Charlotte, NC and Mrs. Fay Pitsikoulis and her husband, Stacy of Denver, NC. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews and goddaughter, Ms. Mavra Papadotos, of Sydney, Australia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tsoulos was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve Tsoulos and Angelo Tsoulos.
The family is thankful to Romanta Tsoulos and her daughter, Victoria for their loving care to Tim during his illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed at: https://vimeo.com/event/165729/457c79a80e for those unable to attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in memory of Tim to Agia Elpis Philoptochos, 600 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28204 or to Panagia Prousiotissa Chapel at Elatos Park, P.O. Box 77114, Charlotte, NC, 28271.
