Kevin Weast Obituary

Mr. Kevin Weast, age 31, of Brooks Chapel Road, Ellenboro, died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Rutherford Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, Kevin had a lifetime achievement of working closely with his two best friends, his brothers, at Weast Construction.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer McGinnis Weast , One daughter, Megan Weast of South Lake, Texas, One son, Riley Clay Weast of the home, One Stepson, Daughtry Mitchell of the home, his mother and stepfather, Candy and Ron Honeycutt of Bostic, his father and stepmother, Roger and Pat Weast of Forest City, Two brothers, Brian Wayne Weast and his wife Tracy, of Bostic, and Joey Weast of Forest City, One step sister, Melissa Hooker of Winston-Salem, Paternal Grandmother, Virginia Weast of Rutherfordton, Maternal Grandfather, A.B. Brackett of Sunshine, Maternal Grandmother, Katherine Brackett of Sunshine. Two nieces, Madison Weast and Amber Weast, Father in law and mother in law, Wayne and Reba McGinnis of Forest City.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 13, 2004 at Bethany Baptist Church. Rev. Marvin Green will officiate. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2004 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road-NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. Friends may sign the online guest book @ www.washburndorsey.com .
