Lisa Kale Obituary
Lisa Anne Kale was born on August 5, 1973 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC to proud parents Norman and Diane Kale. She entered the world two minutes after her twin sister Lynne. Four years later Jeffrey Lewis Kale joined his sisters.
Lisa spent her life in Charlotte, graduating from South Mecklenburg High School in 1991. Lisa worked at the family business, Kale Bindex, became a Flight Attendant for Mesa Airlines, and then worked at Dillard's.
Lisa is survived by her parents; twin sister Lynne and her fiance Dan Abitol; her brother Jeffrey; and the love of her life, Jerry Biggers. Also surviving are her grandmothers, Evelyn Goodman, Elizabeth Kale, and Annabelle Hay, and her special second mom, Debra Miles. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
Lisa made many friends throughout her life, whom she treasured. What was most important to Lisa was her family and knowing that everyone she met was greeted with her beautiful smile that could light up a room. Her mom always said that her heart was as big as Montana. She could tell a joke with the best and always brought out the best in others when she was around.
She loved the special bond that she shared with her twin sister Lynne. They were true soul mates and best friends. She would giggle at the fact that if she thought about something, she would talk to Lynne and they were sharing the same thought. Lisa also shared a special bond with her brother Jeff.
Our lives will forever be blessed for having Lisa. Lisa would not want anyone to be sad, she would want you to reach out to one another and love life and love each other and always show those people you love your tender heart as she did her whole life.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte.

My heart dropped when I heard this news. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know I haven't talked or seen you all since high school but so quickly memories came back to me from hanging out at your house, your pool and riding around together. I have nothing but great memeories of us. Mr.& Mrs Kale & Family,
I was in the Charlotte airport waiting to board a plane for Phoenix in March '99 when Lisa approached me and asked me if I was going to Airzona to go to Mesa Flight Attendant School. I told her that I was and she said that was where she was going. Needless to say, we did go to the Mesa FA School and graduate together. Once out of school, we would run into eachother occasionally out of town and share the inflight 'Mesa News'. The last time I spoke with Lisa was a few months ago at the DMV. As I was getting out of my car, I heard someone calling my name...it was Lisa. We had a very nice conversation and she gave me her business card. As always, Lisa looked radiant, beautiful and happy.
From the depths of my soul, I can tell you that I grieve with you and I understand your grief as I too lost my young adult daughter a year ago.
One day, not long ago, it was such a beautiful spring morning with the
light breeze and birds singing. I was so sad and I said, 'Heavenly Father, I wish Tonyah(my daughter) could be here to experience this lovely spring day. He then whispered into my ear..."This lovely earth day that you now see is nothing at all compared to the
ultimate beauty and splendor that she is experiencing in Heaven. Nor can you imagine." I remember this when I tend to get too sad. I am certain that Lisa and Tonyah are experiencing joys beyond our imaginations and I am certain we will share those joys with them one day.

I am broken-hearted to hear about Lisa. You may not remember me, but I was close friends with Lisa and Lynne in highschool. I met them through some of my church friends who attended South Mecklenburg, even though I went to Charlotte Christian. I remember coming over to your house often, as I was a year ahead of your girls and was one of the first to get my drivers license. Mrs. Kale, I sat at your kitchen table on numerous occasions talking and giggling with you, Lisa, Lynne and Sheri Hanna. I also remember "swapping" outfits with Lisa and talking with her for hours on the phone. I think one of my fondest memories of Lisa was when she would make one of her famous "beauty discoveries" and then call me to come over and be her human guinea pig. I can't tell you how many fake finger nails she put on my fingers, how many pedicures and manicures she gave me, and the funniest one... well I will just say that I remember getting to be the test subject for some strange tooth whitening product Lisa found for a dollar at the drugstore. All I will say is that it's a wonder that I have any teeth left after that experience! Thinking of these things remind me of Lisa's unique, fun, compassionate, animated and loving personality. I will certainly always remember her fondly. In closing, I wanted to let each of you know that I will keep your family in my prayers. I beleive that there is now one more beautiful angel in heaven watching over all of us. She was certainly a special angel who touched me during her beautiful life on this earth.
