Lottie Bell Scott CHARLOTTE - Ms. Lottie Bell Scott, 92, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2016, at home in Charlotte, NC. She was born on December 24, 1923, in Honea Path, SC, to Razor and Minnie Lee Fair. Lottie spent a great deal of time in her garden, displaying a remarkable green thumb. She also loved baking and was an involved, God loving church member, including singing in the choir. She raised a family of nine children: Peggy of Charlotte, NC, Jerry of Racine, WI, Linda (Duren) of Charlotte, NC, Debra of Huntsville, AL, Michael of Charlotte, NC, and Zachary of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren and other relatives. Lottie was preceded in death by her daughters Betty Jean and Alice of Charlotte, NC and her son Edward also of Charlotte. A funeral service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 4700 Willard St., Charlotte, North Carolina 28208 at 10:00 on July 30, 2016.
