My dearest Maria Victoria, my "booboo", today it has been one year since you rejoined God and all the other little angels in Heaven.

Mummy, Suzy, and Pappy miss you so much and this day especially, brings back our feelings and loss of you. Though it has been an emotional year we will continue to find strength in God and His love for all of us will prevail the rest of our lives. Greg,

I want to thank you very much for speaking with me about your experience. I can only imagine how tough it must be. When you think of how short Maria was here and what an impact she has made it is amazing. She truly is a little angel. I am hoping that she is up there looking down on my nephew baby Drew. Only someone like you can know what my sister and brother-in-law are dealing with. I know that they would value hearing your real life experience and words from the heart. Thank you again so very much.

Grandma & Grandpa Collins

The youngest and smallest member of our family, taught us how truly precious life is and the importance of each moment given to us. She brought joy, peace and patience to those who loved and cared for her. Maria's purity touched us all, and we know her message was that of an angel. The loss of Maria has left a deep longing in our lives and an empty spot in our hearts. Maria Victoria's birthday is June 6 and we know she will be celebrating with the other angels in her new home. Happy Birthday, Little One. We love you.

Love,

Grandma and Grandpa Collins

Dear Greg, Gloria, Suzy, Flora & Anna,

Maria Victoria's passing has been such a devastating experience. She was a beautiful little girl and you were so fortunate to have her in your life. God picked you for the very special job of being her parents, her big sister, her aunts and her family. As you were fortunate to have her, she was more fortunate to have you. You provided her with a tremendous amount of love and care. All she knew was love. She saw it in your kind eyes, she heard it in your comforting voices and she felt it in your strong, protective arms. You were the best family she could have had.

Now, we have to figure out a way to move on. She will always be in our memories and her photos are priceless reminders of the happiness she felt while she was here. Trust in God and he will protect and love the family that cared for her and help you through these very tough times. We love you and will continue to pray for your strength.

Grandma & Grandpa Collins

"I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine," He said.

"For you to love the while she lives and mourn for when she's dead."

"It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three."

"But, will you till I call her back, take care of her for me?"

"She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and shall her stay be brief."

"You'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief."

"I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,"

"But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn."

"I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true,"

"And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have selected you."

"Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labor vain,"

"Nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again?"

"I fancied that I heard them say "Dear Lord, Thy will be done."

"For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run."

"We'll shelter her with tenderness,"

"We'll love her while we may,"

"And for the happiness we've known forever grateful stay."

"But shall the angels call for her much sooner than we planned,"

"We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."
