Mike Poole Obituary

Mike Poole, 53, of Charlotte, died Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Carolina's Medical Center. Mike was born in Greenville, SC, son of Gordon E. and Betty Putnam Poole of Charlotte.
He received his B.S. degree in Biology from the Charleston Southern University in 1971 and an A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy from Piedmont Community College in 1999. He was a member of the Park Road Baptist Church and was an active volunteer in the Charlotte community.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Susan Osborne and her husband, Ted and sons, Jon and Ryan, of Ft. Mill, SC.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Park Road Baptist Church, 3900 Park Road, Charlotte, with The Reverends Russ and Amy Jacks Dean, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Greenville, SC, at 2:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Road Baptist Church or to Metrolina Inter Group, 1427 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC 27288.
Harry and Bryant Company is serving the family of Mr. Poole.
