I was so saddened to learn of Sadye Anne's passing. We went to elementary and high school together and graduated together in 1955 from Hugh Morson High School. From the earliest times she was always such a special person. Unfortuately, we lost contact after she moved to Charlotte, but I well remember the last time we were together. We were both in summer school in Chapel Hill and we met for lunch at the Monogram Club. That lunch turned into a three hour event where we reminisced and laughted and laughed. I will never forget that day and our friendship. And I think about her every time I go by the house on Whitaker Mill Rd. here in Raleigh where she once lived. What special memories! My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time and the days ahead.

Sadye Ann was and will always be the epitome of a true Southern Belle. Her accent we would copy as we all had fun together in Cardiac rehab for many years is so reminiscent. Few saw that side of her. I was privileged to know her in that arena. I cared for her, we befriended each others' families for years. This is an extreme loss to this world- her family, friends & many others that know & love her. However, I know she is where the most beautiful orchestra in the world greeted her and friends & family have gone before her. I know I am comforted by the fact I will see her again in our heavenly home. If by no other way - her lovely, soothing southern drawl...until then Sayde Ann ... Love,Peace,Comfort,&Rest to all of us that miss, love & cherish you with our fond memories!!!
