Alfred Hackiewicz, age 79, Army Veteran, beloved husband of the late Rita, nee Kolpak; loving father of David (Aggie), Michael (Marie), Peter (Suellyn), Janice (Robert) Skwarczyk, Paul (Karen) and the late Anne; dear grandfather of Heather, Lauren, Juliana, Lisa, Kayla, Amber, Paige, Joshua, Sarah, Matthew, Jason, Kristen and Kevin; devoted brother of the late Edward (the late Bernice), Stanley (the late Lillian) Hacker, Ben (Bernice), Joseph (the late Josephine) and Casimir Hackiewicz; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 12641 W. 143rd Street, to St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery. Longtime employee of A & P Foods and employee of Archdiocese of Chicago Cemeteries. Visitation Monday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
