Dear Diane and Karen,
My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family on the death of your mother. She was a "very special person", and a devoted friend to my late wife Sharon and me.
Alice had a wonderful sense of humor, and she was sincere, compassionate, caring, and displayed empathy for others.
She was so good at her job of working with special education students in the Chicago public school system. May her memory be a blessing. And, oh, what a beautiful smile and laugh.

Alice was a very kind and considerate young lady, and I'm sure that was how she spent her whole life. I have communicated with Alice on and off for the past few years as we went to the same grade school (Peterson), and partly high school (Von Steuben,) until I left for Lane. She was older than me by one year but I still remember her making her way home on Kimball Ave. most everyday.
My sincerest sympathy to your family and remember her gift to all who were lucky enough to have known her!

Alice was a dedicated and giving woman, well-respected in the field of special education. (I knew her from I.C.E.C.) She had a wonderful sense of humor.
May her memory be a blessing.
