Brett David Marks; beloved son of Joan Marks and Jeffrey Marks; loving brother of Robby (Deborah) Marks and Josh Marks; devoted grandson of Alfred (Charlotte) Marks, Bette Hyman and the late Bob Hyman and Carolyn Marks; doting uncle of Jonah Marks. Services Thursday, 10 a.m., at Am Shalom, 840 Vernon, Glencoe. Entombment Rosehill. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Diabetes Association (earmark for research), 30 N. Lonely is the home without
Life to us is not the same.
All the world would be like heaven, if we could have you back again.
A light is from our lives gone.

A place is vacant in our lives that never can be filled.

The happy memories we once enjoyed how sweet their memory still.

Dear Marks Family-
We just got back into town and heard the horrible news about Brett. We have such wonderful memories of him growing up. I will never forget the joy on his face as he sang "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" at Northbrook Court, or when he talked about wanting to go to Space Camp, or when we'd bump into each other and he would just talk about life. He had a heart of gold. May his memory be for a blessing.

Dear Marks Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. While words can not express the sadness, I thought the words you each shared at the Funeral were so touching. Brett was incredible. I'll always smile remembering him at my childhood birthday parties. Even as he grew up, he still had the same child-like spirit that I loved about him as a kid.
