Brian was my first love; so a permanent part of my heart and being. A random Google search uncovered this obituary...words can't describe my feelings.
My condolences to his family as you approach the first anniversary of his death. You must miss him dearly. How he loved life!

All my condoleances to the familly of Brian . I met Brian in 1977 in Versailles (France) when we use to meet at lunch time with all of the others Versailles Boys. We were students and it was a wonderfull year. I remember Brian, so handsome and funny with the nicest smile. I have this vivid picture of us zigzaging and skipping in the allees of the gardens of Versaille Palace and singing so loud the song from the wisard of Oz. We went on with our lives and did not keep in touch, but i never forgot you, Brian. My good thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

Brian was charming and a great cook. Everything with Brian was about architecture, Chicago, France and an experience! Drinks on the roof with a view of the city, Oak Street Beach on weekends in the summer, rights of spring picnic at night, ice cream in the park on the first warm night in April, and trips to the zoo and conservatory with Kevin. The dinners I loved the most were the ones in Beverly on Sunday with the gracious and loving Mr and Mrs Brady and siblings. Political discussions over dinner and lots of laughs. Brian was truly loved. I will remember him always with his aviator sun glasses on, the grey Michigan sweatshirt, his safari shorts, camera around the neck and riding bikes along the lakefront. Pat, Jan, Kathy and Alex, my deepest, deepest sympathies to all of you. I was just crazy about him. I am sure he is redesigning Heaven so it will be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and looking for croissant!!!

So sad to hear about Brian's passing. I was a friend of his from Washington DC. I moved away DC in 1996 and unfortunately lost touch. I remember him as a bright, handsome and interesting individual. My thoughts are with you and your family.
