Dear Louise:
I was saddened to hear of your son Brian's passing. Since I lost my only child, my beautiful daughter Gina, just five years ago, I can totally empathize with you. I find comfort in remembering and talking about Gina every day. The passing of time has made the sadness somewhat easier to bear. Please know that you are in my thoughts. All the pain and suffering is over

Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread
And with Jesus' arm to lean on
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is still work waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
My heart fills with sorrow for the whole Engle family during this very trying time. Many many thoughts & prayers being sent to you. God Bless you today & always !

Louise--Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Brian. I remember you from PWP which we both belonged to back in the early '80's. I have never met Brian. I used to work with his wife at Motorola. I married another PWP'er, Madeline Sekulich, in 1985. We live in western Wisconsin now.
