Bruno B. Bak, Veteran of WWII U.S. Army, beloved husband of Joan Tomczak; loving father of Stephanie (Karl) Kann and stepfather of Lynn Taylor and Jamee Burdick; fond grandfather of five; dear brother of Thadeus (Velma) Bak and Virgina Javenkoski; brother- in-law of Diane Jarek; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday, Sept. 10, 2001. Friends are asked to meet at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S. Washington, Park Ridge, IL at 9:45 a.m. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001 at Drake & Son Funeral Home, (Cappetta-DiCanio Directors), 625 Busse Hwy., 2 blks W. of Greenwood, Park Ridge, from 2 to 9 p.m. President of Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Member of NFDA, IFDA, FDSA and The British Institute of Embalmers. Licensed funeral director and embalmer for 52 years. Instructor at Worsham College for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Bruno B. Bak Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Worsham College, 495 Northgate Pky., Wheeling, IL 60090, would be appreciated. Information, 847-698-3368.
