Catherine Martin Obituary

Catherine L. Martin, nee Burke, longtime resident of the North Shore, passed away Nov. 14, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Raymond ''Ray'', a former Executive Vice President of Bradner Central Company; loving mother of Mary Catherine and Arthur R. (Janice S.) Martin; dear sister of the late James (the late Helen) Burke; fond aunt and great-aunt of many. She attended Bradley University and was a member of the Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette and La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, CA. Visitation Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette. Funeral Mass Wednesday, Nov. 17, 10:30 a.m. at SS. Faith, Hope & Charity Catholic Church, 191 Linden St., Winnetka. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Infant Welfare Society of Evanston, 2200 Main St., Evanston, IL 60202. Info 847-251-8200.

Mary, Art, and Jan, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother and mother-in law. It is very difficult to lose a loved one and I have experienced such a loss earlier this year. Prayers are being said with the hopes of providing some comfort at this difficult time.
