I am a fellow 1960 St. Benedict High School
graduate. I remember Craig well, he always
had a smile and was very easily likable. I
did not keep in touch all these years and was please to read of his teaching career. One of
my sisters, 13 years young than Craig and I,
sent me his obituary and remembers him well
as a St.Benedict High School teacher when she also attend St. Ben's.

Craig was a presence at St. Benedict High School from the day he arrived, quickly establishing himself as an excellent teacher and coach. He also became an effective mentor, well-respected by the student population. Our sympathies to his wife Ann (herself an outstanding teacher at St. Ben's), his children and his entire family, with whom Craig's memory will forever endure.

Mr. Bolanos was my Homeroom teacher for my four years at Ridgewood HS from 89-93. Couldn't have been blessed with a better mentor and educator. He was always a bright spot and even joined us at our 10 yr reunion for a visit. Want his family to know he made an amazing impact on my life and was blessed to have shared my time with him. Prayers to the family for healthy healing and may he forever rest peacefully!! #scienceiscool

I appreciated Craig for his selfless commitment as a Funeral Minister at Holy Family Catholic Church. He humbly and so capably served his community. I always felt that Craig added a sense of grace during the services he ministered. All of us will miss him here. At the same time, he has. Ertainly earned the place prepared for him. Craig: You can now be a Table & Light Minister in the Kingdom of our Lord.

Mr. Bolanos (I could never call him Craig) was a teacher and my baseball coach at St. Benedict. Science was never one of my favorite subjects, but he worked hard to make it interesting, not just for me but all of his other students. During his time at Bens, baseball was never the top sport (hoops were king). But we fielded a pretty good team and he provided the support and helped us build confidence in ourselves and as teammates. My condolences to his family.

I worked with Craig at Ridgewood High School. He brought joy and laughter to even the most mundane meetings. Craig was a warm and accepting person who worked well with everyone. I wish his family strength, peace, and hope to endure this loss.

I was one of Mr. Bolanos' students in Biology at St. Benedict High School in 1970. He actually made it possible for me to enjoy Biology, which is saying LOT from someone who avoided science classes at all cost. Rest in peace, Mr. Bolanos, and my deepest sympathies to your family.

Craig was a friend from the old days (circa 1960's). I played sports with him...bowling, golf, softball. He was a good good man.

I have very fond memories of Mr. Bolanos as my biology teacher at Ridgewood HS. I later had some opportunities to chat with him after I graduated and I learned that he taught at Harper College. We were able to exchange stories about teaching once I entered the community college teaching arena in biology. I will miss him dearly. My condolences to the Bolanos family.

To the family of Mr. Bolanos, Sending sympathies to the family of Mr. Bolanos. He was a great educator and I have fond memories of all that he taught me at RHS in the science world. It is to his credit that he opened my mind to the wonderful world of science that led me into my nursing career. May he Rest In Peace in heaven for a well done job here on earth.
