Demetrios E. Tsagalis, born in Nestani, Tripoleos, Greece. Co-founder of Seven Brothers Restaurant. Beloved husband of Demetra nee Antonopoulos. Loving father of Angelo J. Tsagalis. Godfather of Kostas Nikas, Bill Tsagalis and Argyro Karagiannis. Devoted son of the late Evaggelos and Georgia Tsagalis. Dear brother of Eleni (the late Athanasios) Panagiotopoulos, Dina (the late Demos) Fraggos, Mike (Georgia), John (Maria) Tsagalis and the late George (Susana), Bill (Mary), Pete (Dina) and Sam (Mary) Tsagalis. Brother-in-law of John (Demetra), Bill (Anastasia), George (Sandy) Antonopoulos and the late Christine Tsagalis. Fond uncle of many and godbrother of Helen Antonopoulos. Visitation Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church 7373 Caldwell Ave., Niles for funeral service at 10:00am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Angelo and family, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father, husband, uncle and friend. Although we did not know Demetrios, we know the son he raised and therefore know what an inspirational, honorable man he was.
