Donald Bowey Obituary

Donald F. Bowey, 73, of Chicago, passed away July 22, 2006. A sales and marketing executive, in l984 he acquired Buckley Dement, the first company in the country to offer professional direct mail creative services. Mr. Bowey sold the company in 1997 and established a second home in Santa Barbara, CA, where he was a Trustee of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. He leaves his wife, Susan Drymalski Bowey and four nieces and nephews, Page Drymalski, Robert Drymalski, Dr. Renee Flaherty, and Eric Fogelberg. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northwestern Memorial Hospital Palliative Care and Home Hospice Program, 676 St. Clair, #720, Chicago 60611 or the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Photo Futures Committee, 1130 State Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.
