Harold Hogueisson Obituary
Harold M. "Bud" Hogueisson, age 89, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He is survived by his three sons: Robert (Mary) Hogueisson, Martin (Camille) Hogueisson, and Timothy (Barbara) Hogueisson; one granddaughter: Alexa Hogueisson; two brothers: Eugene and William Hogueisson; and many nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death in 2005 by Mary Ellen, his beloved wife of 65 years; son: James Michael Hogueisson; and brother: Walter Hogueisson. Funeral services for Bud will be held on Thursday, February 5 beginning with Prayers at 9:30 AM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL, and processing to St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Friends are invited to visit with Bud's family on Wednesday, February 4 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bud's name to Honor Flight Chicago. A member of the Greatest Generation, Bud honorably served his country during WWII in the US Navy Seabees. He was an Honor Flight participant, a member of the American Legion in Lansing, Commissioner of the Lincoln/Lansing Drainage Ditch, Union Carpenter and worked at the County Assessor's office. www.schroederlauer.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

My husband and I will miss Bud very much. He had been part of our "family" here at Brookdale for awhile and we always enjoyed being in his company. Janelle also is our friend. I'm happy she and Bud enjoyed one another's company. Bud will be missed by many of the residents here. Sincerely,Nick and Phyllis Garofalo
