''Babe'' O'Malley, nee Kearney, beloved wife of the late James J.; loving mother of Joyce M., Thomas (Karla) O'Malley, Marlene O'Malley, John (Beth) O'Malley, Mary Ann (James) Finley, James O'Malley (Karen Borgmeier) and Paul (Debra) O'Malley and Jane (Christopher) Adamczyk; devoted grandmother of Jennifer (Bruce) Cifelli, Matthew Finley and Brendan and Caitlin O'Malley; dear sister of Thomas ''Bud'' (Barbara) Kearney, Dolores (the late Edward) Schleiter, Mary Catherine Kearney, Marlene (the late Irving) Olson, John C. ''Jack'' Kearney and the late Bernadette (the late Bud) Paulus. Funeral Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. from the John E. Maloney Funeral Home, 1359 W. Devon Ave., to St. Gertrude Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Monday, Nov. 10 from 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Misericordia, 6300 N. Ridge, Chicago, IL 60660 appreciated. To Deacon Jack Kearney, I'm sorry to hear of the death of your sister. God rest her soul. I just took another look at the picture of you and I and Babe taken in 1937 next to the Firehouse on Foster. Those were happy days. No one would have beleived that you and I would both be ordained deacons in 1986. Joan and I pray that God will bless and console the whole family. Sincerely, Don Daum
