Jackie,
This is the first Christmas without you.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you or something you would of said or did. I see the Christmas dish pattern you have and think of you.The gifts you gave me and think of you. Every time I put on my Zoppini bracelet, I think of you.
I miss you so much. You will never be forgotten and will always be loved.

Ed:

I was so sorry to hear about Jackie. When I heard the news, I was out of town at a convention. Just returned this past weekend. I'm sorry I wasn't around to attend the services. I've been reading some of the online guestbooks in her honor. They paint a beautiful picture of who this woman was. She sounded very special. I hope that you and the family are finding more strength with each day that passes, and I am keeping all of you in my prayers.

I will miss your spirited conversations, your slight accent (not sure where it originates:) and your passionate story telling. I'm so glad our paths crossed. I still remember meeting you in Iowa City a couple of times when you came to see Greg. We loved you so much. You loved us so much. How fortunate were we! Monica Visscher

Ed, Greg, Jillian & David,
I wanted to share some thoughts. I met your mom in Girl Scouts. We worked together at Whispering Oaks Council. She always embodied the GS ideals even when her environment didn't. Jackie was a mentor and friend. She gave me courage and strength, making me laugh with delight with her stories. I will cherish my memories of Jackie and am greatful to have participated in her short journey.

My thoughts are with you. I will continue to celebrate Jackie and the life she sowed in this world. God bless you all.

Ed, my most heartfelt feelings go out to you and your family. We've known each other through business activities, but, all the same, I consider you a friend, and that to me means a commitment to being "real". If there is any way that I can be there for you, just let me know....

Dear Ed, Greg, Jillian & David,
No words can possibly express how sorry I was to hear about Jackie. She was a wonderful wife and mother and most of all she was a dear friend to me. She enjoyed life to the fullest and I will truly miss talking to her and all the "girls night out" that we shared thru the years. Thru her I learned the importance of spending time with your friends no matter what was going on in your life. I miss her dearly but I know that her suffering is over now. Hang on to all those wonderful memories for they will help you thru this difficult time.

Dear Ed and Family,

Please know my thoughts are with you during this sad time.

As Jackie was part of our unique group of long-time friends from Marshall Fields, I can't begin to count our special memories. Besides all the happy times shared, she helped me through some difficult times as well - like a big sister even though we're about the same age! Anyway I truly treasure that friendship and will miss her.

Love,
Marilyn (& Fred)

Our friendship goes way back. We always say we would get together. When we thought about you we would call or you would call to give us a update on Jackie. God called her home. She is not suffering and is watching over all of you. Even though her physical body is gone. We live on in our children and nature. You will experience signs from nature that she is still here with you. May You find comfort during this difficult time. Peace and Love
