James Brophy Obituary

Born July 20,1937 Chicago, IL. Died March 8, 2021 in Dallas, TX. Oldest of 8 children, Jim is survived by his life partner David Hamilton and four youngest siblings Joseph Brophy of Dallas, J'Anne Brophy Gore and Joyce Brophy Vetrano of Albuquerque, and Jean Brophy of Santa Fe, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Graduated from University of Dallas in 1967, spent his work life starting with Mayor Daley primarily in computers along with multiple spiritual workshops and seminars which was his real life's work. He rests in God's hands now. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association in Jim's name.

I just learned of this via internet search. Jim and I spent significant time together when Dave and him were still in Chicago. If Dave or any of Jims' siblings would like to reach out please do. Jim and my Mother Judy were close. My Mom died in 2019.
