James Forgan Ott, 85, died October 10, 2021 in Melbourne, Florida. He was a native of Chicago and after graduating from Brown University ('58), he started his professional career in Chicago, earning an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Business School ('61), and his CPA in 1978. He worked in Chicago and resided in both Chicago and Lake Forest for his entire career, holding a variety of senior financial executive positions, eventually relocating and retiring to Melbourne, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Edna "Tina" (Cassinerio) Ott, and his 4 children Jeffery (Jean) Ott, Gina Zinbarg, Michael (Stefanie) Ott and Mila (Robert) Love and 8 grandchildren. Jamie was an avid reader, classic movie buff, and lifelong Cubs fan. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, alongside his mother, Emily Fentress Ott (d. 1987) brother David Fentress Ott (d. 1957), and brother Wendel Fentress Ott (d. 2018).
