John Rohan Obituary
Born: May 30th, 1950
Died: December 28th, 2021
John Patrick Rohan Jr passed away on Tuesday, December 28th, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth (Leddy) Rohan and loving children: Julia Marie Rohan (Mark Vanderhoff), and Daniel Gabriel Rohan (Melissa Meyers). John also is survived by his four precious grandchildren: Frances Jane and Iris Claire Rohan and Archer Wyatt and Louis Arthur Vanderhoff.
John was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ann and John Rohan Sr and in-laws, Stella and Harry Leddy.
John is survived by his siblings: Judith Eileen (Lawrence Hicks), Julia Marie (John MacKenzie), Mary Ellen, Michael Joseph (Mary Koss), Thomas Steven (Colleen Quinn), James Edward (Mary Pat Schumacher) and Cyril Timothy (Kathy Tew).
As well as his in-laws and their families: Sister-in-law Joan Leddy Bogwil (Fred), Brother-in-law Harry J Leddy (Pam).
Nieces and nephews: Colleen (Jeff), Patrick (Sera), Michael (Sherie), Kate (Aaron), Meagan, Michael (Ashley), Daniel (Megan), Erin, Matthew, Elise (Matt), Mary Kate, Clare (Kevin), Leo and Eileen, Kate Kardol (Gertjan).
And numerous Grand-nieces and Grand-nephews.
John was privileged to teach in the Valley View School District 365U.
Memorial service will be private. As per John's request, cremation rites have been accorded. Rev. Daniel Antle will officiate at the family gathering. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to one of the following: The Center (12700 Southwest Hwy, Palos Park, IL 60464), Port Ministries (5013 S Hermitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60609), Lightways Hospice (250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431)

Phil and I are so sorry to hear that John passed. I know what a great person he was and Phil certainly enjoyed working with him. I am so very sorry, Ruth, that you have lost John. I only met him a couple of times to know that he was a good man. And always so good to you.
