Joy and I met in 1953 as freshmen at St. Xavier Academy and have remained friends ever since. I will miss her kind ways and cheerful personality. I'm so sorry to miss her services since I will be in California this week.

The last few times I saw Joy, she pointed out to me that I hadn´t been to the her lake house this summer. She demanded to know why! She was ever the eager hostess and always made Katie and I feel welcome. Like many, many others, we will miss her.
