Dear Steve, cherished friend,
Since learning of Marsha's untimely death I have waited for days to speak, hoping I could find words of comfort. Unable to fashion such words myself, I turn (as I often do) to the philosopher Gibran. I pray that his words may bring you and your family some comfort:
"When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight."
I pray that God's heart may enfold and support all of you in this time of anguish, and in all the days to come.
With love,
Lynne and Jeanne Takami

To the Lake and Miyagawa Families,
We wish to express our condolences to you at this time of sadness. We were shocked to hear of Marsha’s death and know that you will miss her terribly.
Although we knew Marsha the best from Senn High School days, over 30 years ago, we will never forget her. We have wonderful memories of her from our teenage years together.
Our deep respects to both your families.

Dear Steve and family,
I have been receiving e-mail from the new North Shore Willow Creek campus and passing it on to my daughter who lives in Evanston. I was devastaed to open my most recent e-mail and see that your precious wife Marsha had passed away. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that you and your family are in my prayers in this most difficult time.
