My absolute brother, light up the room at entry. It's a shame he never coached, because he was just a pure competitor. I really don't have closure on Matty. He was always a boon of energy and knowledge, positive yet critical. A dudecer. He saw things in a pragmatic way. Which always was help to me. But also, what a laugh. Miss you my man. Big.

Matt and I were close friends and I just learned of this sad news.
We met at Rand McNally over 10 yrs ago, went to dinner monthly, and had great conversations about sports and pro wrestling.
If anyone can reach out I'd love to talk and celebrate his life.

Matthew and I had a deep friendship. Started with our mutual love of sports. Which he played and loved soo well. We would argue to blue on many topics, but always to our enjoyment of things we had a passion for. He was an older brother to me. No words will cover the level of this loss for all that knew him. May God at least bless him with a sunny, solid day on the diamond. I will miss him soo much. Gutted.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Matt called into my radio shows all the time. He knew his sports and we loved his contributions to our shows. I´m deeply saddened that we won´t get to hear from him. My condolences again. He was an awesome guy.
