Maxine Scanlan

Scanlan, Maxine (nee McDonald) 87, passed away peacefully June 7, 2013. Resident of Plymouth Place, LaGrange Park, formerly of Western Springs. Beloved wife for 66 years of Robert; cherished mother of the late son, Michael; loving mother of Jeffery (Jacquelyn), Douglas (Julie), Scanlan and Nancy Timyan; devoted grandmother of Kathleen, Robert and Maureen Scanlan, Renee (James) Breeden, Mark and Kurt (Christina) Eismueller, Hannah and Jake Antonczyk, Jack and Anne Timyan; dear sister of the late Raymond, the late Imogene, the late William (Dollie), the late Shirley and the late Sandy; very special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Maxine was a wonderful and talented seamstress and homemaker. She was also a very creative decorator. She was a member of the Western Springs Garden Club, The Questers, and Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange.
