Monica Jane Von Plinsky

Monica Jane Von Plinsky, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Loved and respected by all who knew her, relatives, friends, colleagues and her students. A gift to all those whose lives she touched.

She was a daughter of the late Alexander H. Von Plinsky Jr. and the late Eleanor B. (nee Papracki) Von Plinsky and sister to the late Mary Catherine Von Plinsky and the late Lt. Col Alexander H. Von Plinsky III.

She is survived by Laurel A. Mirabella, also her brothers Jonathan Von Plinsky, Andrew (Debra) Von Plinsky, Mark (Jo Ann) Von Plinsky and Patricia Von Plinsky. She was a devoted aunt to all her nephews and nieces who she loved dearly, and a loving cousin to her cousins in the Papracki and Von Plinsky families. It is reflective of Monica's life that she chose to donate her body to science as a last act of charity to help others. Her funeral is therefore postponed until a later date.
