I played football with Pete at St. Laurence. Pete was a great player on the 1972-73-74 City Championship Teams. Pete was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Our Senior year he ran the defenses and called all the plays. I last saw him at Stoney Creek Golf Course and when I looked at him closer I thought he looked just like his Dad. I said "Pete, it´s Bogie!". We talked for a while and reminisced about all the post game get togethers at his Family Restaurant, Pregos. They were the best of times and I and sorry I didn´t find about Pete sooner. He was a hell of a guy and we will miss him dearly. Go Vikings! RIP Pete.

As a former teacher and coach at St. Margaret of Scotland school, I have many fond memories of Peter , his mom and dad and siblings; most particular Mary Fran and Laura. I would very much like to express my condolences in person. So if Mary Fran or Laura would email their #, I would love to talk with them.

Pete was a wonderful friend to Jerry, Jack and myself. He was kind and just an all around fantastic person that would do anything for anyone without asking. He had so many friends that loved him dearly along with his beloved family. He will be sorely missed by all and we would like to extend our condolences to everyone in the Pattera family.

Pete was a friend of mine in grade school through scouting, his integrity impressed me even when we were boys. I think of him often, I was lucky to count him a friend.

I knew Pete at Lake Forest College, played football with him. Pete was a really great guy, a very funny guy and he had a lot of friends at LFC. I was sad to hear about this, because we had talked within the last year online and were planning on meeting with a bunch of teammates after this virus insanity was passed through. I hope peace for Pete and his loved ones.
