for some reason today i thought. "whatever happened to Randy Kos". i was surprised that he had died 8 years ago. i had not seen him for more than 45 years. still have memories of playing as a kid at their house and going to Awana together. condolences to the family.

We grew up next to the Kos family on Brookhaven. Randy was older than I but I knew him well through my and his siblings. With his devilish smile, curly hair and hot rod blue Challenger he was one of the "cool" guys but he was always nice to me and the younger kids in the neighborhood. We still laugh when we recall how Randy turned 19 on New Years Eve and could buy beer for one day until the law changed on January first raising the age to 21. He was a great guy and we will miss him. Our sympathies and prayers go out the Kos Family and especially to Randy's children. Jim, John and Karen English

We have great memories of Randy. He loved to swim. His mom and I would load up the station wagon with our kids, and a pcnic lunch. We would drive to the Wilmington Recreation Club's beach for a wonderful time.
