Steven E. Paar, age 79, beloved husband of the late Lillian; loving father of Steven
(Melissa), Robert (Judie) and Thomas
(Therese); proud grandfather of Karl, Heather, Hilary, Michael, Lauren and Sarah; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. At the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral Thursday 10:15 a.m. to St. John Brebeuf Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated 847-966-7302.

Bob- I am so sorry about the loss of your father. I hope you gain comfort in knowing how much he appreciated and enjoyed the everyday lunch visits; enjoyed the power outages knowing he could count on you to re-set the VCR; the visits at his new home and most important--giving him a "free" place to live!
