My deepest condolences to Vicky and the Rubin family. I worked with Steve for 13 years and he always had a friendly smile. On one occasion a group of us went out for dinner and enjoyed dancing alongside Steve. You will be greatly missed Steve.

My condolences to Vicky and the entire Rubin Family. Steve was an amazing, happy guy, always sincere and genuine. I had the extreme pleasure to know and call him my friend and colleague for past 11 years and I miss him. Any time I ran into Steve, he would light up with joy and tell me a story about one of his many passions. Steve brought out the kid in me. He got me involved in hobbies that I had growing up as a kid. Anytime I see a Corvette, Super Car or anything Radio Controlled, Ill be thinking of Steve.

Words cannot adequately express the sorrow brought upon by Steve's passing. His passion for corvette's, his infectious smile, his quick wit and his lust for life truly inspired the countless lives touched. I have known Steve in one capacity or another for nearly 20 years and there is no one quite like him. Rest easy brother.

While having not known Steven, he was a member of my family at Protective.
Each who knew him has a book of memories in their minds, hold on to these, share them. Sit around a table and read your memory book to others and have them do the same.

Dear Vicki and family, we our sadden to hear of Steve's passing. A tragedy beyond saying, we had just spoken with Steve at the Pontiac Uprising in St. Charles and we had such a good time walking around and talking about all the Pontiacs on display. He shurly new about corvettes and all cars for that matter!! He shurly will be missed by all!!

When I heard the news this morning, I was shocked and saddened of his sudden passing. May you all find comfort during this time, and I am laughing because Steve used to talk to me about vettes all the time and on my way to work I saw three. You made me laugh often and I am sorry we lost touch!

Steve Rubin was like a brother to us all. I`ve worked with Steve for 19 years and I wish it could have gone longer. This deeply impacted me and allot of his coworkers who couldn`t wait to see what he had to say, show or teach. He brought smiles to many faces and was truly a character of his own.
