OMG... Wonderful woman... When I would write letters to Harlene and Sylvia, I would always address them:
Harlene & "Mom"
We are all blessed to have known such a Super-Sweet woman.

Dear Harlene,
We were so sorry to read in the newspaper that your beloved mother passed away. You are in our thoughts.

I am shocked and saddened at the news of the passing of Sylvia Harris. I did not know she was ill. She was a wonderful person and I loved her. We had so much fun together - Spottio, Sylvia and I. She was always kind and thought of everyone else - she loved to bake and made me food and cookies which were delicious!. Harlene and Sylvia were inseparable and made a great pair. Sylvia was a sweet, kind, gracious, generous, lovely and loving woman, mother and friend. I am so sorry for Harlene's loss. It must be devastating - I cannot imagine. My deepest condolences and if there is anything I can do please let me know. Heaven is a very special place now that she is there.

Sylvia was a neighbor of mine and a truly wonderful woman. The very best baker! Inquisitive. Loyal. Opinionated. Direct. A "best friend" to those she liked. A lover of good food, including the best breads. And no mother has had a more loving daughter, Harlene. My sincere sympathy at this time. Let's celebrate her wonderful 98 years!
