Thomas Tully Obituary
Thomas Edward Tully, 72, passed away on Sunday, November 25, surrounded by family after an illness with cancer. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Annie Tully, he is survived by brothers and sisters James (Kathleen), John (Kathleen), Margaret (the late Dr. Anthony) Nicosia, Martin (Joyce), Patrick, Edward (Carol), and Kate Tully (Andy) Fagiolo. Preceded in death by a sister, Ann "Nancy". Adored uncle of James, Michael, Therese, Sheila (Michael) Oliver, Annie Tully (Conan) Kisor, John Jr. (Shirley), Lynn (Greg) Bedalov, Martin (Shanon), Michael, Scott, Joyce, Daniel (Claire), and Laura (the late Kevin) Dennis; and 15 great-nieces and nephews. An Army veteran, longtime friend of Bill W., graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Chicago, Tom was the president of TET Marketing for many years. A long-time resident of Chicago IL and Lake Geneva, WI, he enjoyed golfing, boating, his wide circle of friends and his family. He will be remembered always for his exuberance, generosity, humor and kindness. Memorial visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral & Cremation Center , 6467-77 N. Northwest Hwy (one block north of Devon), Chicago. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church, 1352 S. Cumberland Ave., Park Ridge. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: McDermott Haymarket Center, 108 N. Sangamon, Chicago, IL or House of the Good Shepherd, P.O. Box 13453, Chicago, IL 60613. An additional Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date in Delavan, WI. Info 773-774-3333.

My deepest sympathy to Tom's family. I only learned of Tom's passing today from Margaret so I didn't attend the Mass celebrating his life. And what a life it was. We shared an apartment for awhile and he had me laughing all the time. He was a kind and gentle person. May he rest in peace.

Tom was a one in a million man. Jim and I will long remember his zest for life, laughter and fun. When Tom was around, we surely were not a glum lot.
