Dear Rosemary and family: I am sorry I can't be with you today as you celebrate Bill's life' The word 'goodbye' is taken from a English phrase, 'God be with ye". If you believe in Jesus, you never say 'goodbye' for the last time....When I have the privilege of burying WWII vets, I always say 'all gave some and some gave all.' This great generation gave what they could so we could have what we have. We are the land of the free because of the brave....Also, as a Mt Carmel grad,I know that Bill followed the way of the Carmelite motto - 'With Zeal I will be Zealous for the Lord God of hosts.' On this day before we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany, I know Bill was one of your stars, showing God's love as best as he could. Saints are flawed individuals with great courage and generous hearts. You could put that on Bill's tombstone....May the Lord hold Bill and all of you in the palm of His loving hand. Shalom
