Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Coleman

HAMILTON – Thomas Wayne ""Tommy"" Coleman, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, in Hamilton. He was born June 12, 1948, in Monroe County to William Fay Coleman and Ethel Laverne Rooks Coleman. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was in the National Guard. He was a retired supervisor for EKA Chemicals and a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel with Bro. James Towery officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Coward Coleman of Hamilton; one daughter, Stephanie Walters and husband, Richard of Hamilton; one son, Sterling Coleman and wife, Leah, of Hamilton; two sisters, Diane Harlow and husband, Bill, of Hamilton and Susie Pittman and husband, Jerry, of Lackey; four granddaughters, Eden Vickers and husband, Curt, Abby Coleman, Lauren Walters and Maddie Walters; and one great-granddaughter, Gracie Vickers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Benny Coleman, Frank Cockerham, Tony Rooks, David Montgomery, Dean Honeycutt and Shane Higdon.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
