Sister Donnas was a warm loving person and has been a major influence in my life. She was a true Christian woman! She had been a long aquintance to my family for generations. She used to babysit me and my sister and made us drink lots of milk, yuck! But she showed us what a women in Christ can and should be.

Sincerely,

Shawneya Hedrick

Our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to the family. Sister Donna has gone home to be with the Lord, and her husband Ocie. Sister Donna was undoubtedly the 'true' replica of a Christian Woman. My grandmother Myrtle Mix was part of Congregacion that Sis Donna and Bro Ocie preached at. Whenever my grandmother was unable to attend church, Sis Donna knew it was serious and following the dismissal of church she'd come to the house to check on my grandma. If there were household chores to do she'd be the first to take initiative and do whatever that needed to be done, whether it be fixing my grandfather Bert Mix a meal or washing the dishes. Sister Donna was a wonderful Christian lady who will be missed and forever loved by all, I love you Sister Donna, Ginara
