Julie Heath Obituary

JULIE HEATH Julie Heath passed away on January 9, 2017 after a courageous three year battle against cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully transitioned into an Angel. Julie was born on May 23, 1962 to Bob and Sally Heavican in Long Beach, Ca. The ever popular and athletic Julie spent her All American childhood in Santa Ana before graduating from El Toro High School in 1980 where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband Fred Heath. In 1986 Julie earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Cal Poly Pomona. In 1993, with three small children and pregnant, they moved to Chico to raise a family and run a small pool business together. Julie's favorite thing in the world was being a mom, watching her four kids grow throughout the years. She was a great mother who dedicated her life to raising them properly; never missing a single game or event her children were involved in. She saw all four graduate from college and grow up to be strong, happy adults. Julie enjoyed a simple life and lived it exactly how she wanted. Some of her favorite things were going on long walks, attending happy hour at her favorite spots around town typically choosing a classic margarita on the rocks, spending time with her friends, having her girl time with her two daughters, and tailgating at Sacramento State to watch her two sons play football. Julie was truly loved by all. We will always remember her beautiful smile, optimism, and genuinely kind heart. Julie is survived by her parents Bob and Sally Heavican, her brother Barry, sister Barbara, son August and wife Melissa (Carr), son Smith, daughter Riley, and daughter Cheyanne and Mike Sprague. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, her ex-husband Fred, and too many friends to list! There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, February 18th at the CARD Center on Vallombrosa Ave. Stop by anytime between 5-8pm to remember our Angel. She was loved by all and everyone is welcome.

What a beautifully written tribute to an amazing person. To the Heath and Heavican families, I am so sorry for you loss. I grew up in Santa Ana and loved the Heavican's and was lucky enough to reconnect a few years back through working with Barb. Heaven has gained an angel.

My heartfelt condolences to the family on your immeasurable loss. It's times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father can bring us comfort and can soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14
